Its been 21 years, and I finally get down to typing my life story, just 833 words thus far and still have a far bit to chase retelling my life from 14 years old. Tracing back my life, I've found several new life lessons on top of the ones i was reminded of. To have better make sense of several old lessons in the past got to be one of the best things concluding this year of 21st.

A conversation that struck me today:
Me:"This year has been perfect, it can't be better."
Friend: "there is no such thing as life is perfect."
Me: "Yes, so long you are satisfied!"
Friend: "How can we be satisfied, we need to strive and improve ourselves constantly."

I think we can never be satisfied with life if we place our hopes in the things that can never satisfy us.

Night-crawlers outing <3,

The attempt to surprise millionaire outside his church failed, I think when we took the lift to level 12 we kind of missed him cos he took the other lift down.

Haven't been to the cheesecake cafe for a while, the last time was in TJ days, and though it took very long driving around locating the place because we all clearly don't have a good sense of directions LOL, but it was worth the search and spinning around.

Everyone ordered a cake and there were like 8 different flavoured cheesecakes on the table, super pleasing sight =DD I could hardly contain my excitement, cheesecake is my weakness manz.

If I ever want to remember one thing about today, is that I was reminded that the friendship was forged out of sincere hearts with no unbiased favoritism and motives. i want to be unafraid, to continue to stay true to myself and be a fair friend.

Met up with 2 groups of people this week. Very interesting to observe that the 2 groups had very different conversations. I am just fascinated by the different interest and experience that clustered us together, and the conversations reflected the two group's identity so much, the difference is obvious and so is the stability of the friendship.

Signed up for membership on impulse when i came across the economics society booth on Tuesday. Almost dived into an exco meeting invitation as the first touch. Had a strong urge to be involved, and I had crazy ideas and images in my head... ...Right, I shall keep those wild thoughts to myself and just see how it goes, for now I shall stick to taking actions with the level of uncertainty that can be managed.

Such a pleasant surprise! Received a text to inform there are additonal seats added for the "Global Economic Prospects and Risks" seminar this Friday, I thought I have missed my chance. What an affirmation that the membership was a good start to that mission of self exploration, and a step closer to that ideal transformation...cutting short that endless list of not good enough and must dos.

Far away from home breaking from your comfort zone, having a fresh start in a place with no strings attached was good. I've realized that there are so many things I can live without in my life and I've discovered what is most valuable to me and what truly matters.

I was afraid that I would dread all my responsibilities here, but coming back to self and adapting to the pace of life here once again has been far more joyful than I imagined.

God has summed up my internship experience sweetly with a great message on Monday, a reminder of what exactly is the greatest pursuit in life that is ever lasting and I thought everything that happened this summer just pieced up together nicely.

Spore vs fiji was so close. Almost a win and then it became a draw at the last few secs. and hence the game went into extra time, was the scorer 1, unfamiliar with such situation, was trying to stay calm, partner scorer was an experienced international bench and guided me a lot and was vv encouraging. Someone on the other hand condescending commands and fierce temper is just appalling, i really felt her rage was just nt helpin the sitiation, her glares and tone really is humiliating, i just felt so hurt by her attitude, swallowed my pride and finish the sheet with great pressure and disappointment. The extra time also delayed my own schedule, end up running late for crusaders st meeting. Crusaders meeting and karaoke at Teoheng aft which brighten me up a bit. Now lying in bed and feeling a little sad rhinking about some ppl ard me. A text gt me moody overall again, its like i am just part of the numbers that count, feel unappreciated.im suddenly tired of all these ppl to ppl entanglement, life's so hard with these difficult ppl, life gets harder when u dont have the right ppl ard u. Even there exist the right ppl in ur life, they may not be there at the right time. Its is not okay. Its not.
Feeling so uncomfortable at this stage, uneasy and restless half way thru this summer break, turnin point?

The 2nd round of presentation is over, post china trip follow up assignments, the group presentation, group report, and personal reflection are all done, all weeeell done!!

The good feedback received really comforts me, and I am glad that all our efforts are appreciated and even inspiring to others.

The day concluded with dinner at bukit batok opp beauty world plaza @
5star hainanese and got to catch up quite a bit, but I can't seem to get enough, or rather everyone was feeling a little tired, the mood at the table just wasn't as hyper as usual.

Moving on, 3-10july is going to be another first time experience, my first world netball championships experience as a technical offical, working along with experienced bench officials from Australia and New-zealanders,pretty stressed but I think I will learnt a lot from the experience, most importantly ENJOY the whole process of it, don't lose the passion due to the pressure.

Crossed the overhead bridge to take a bus to downtown east e hub to do my post china reflection essay that is due today, ended up in changi village instead(TAKE WRONG BUS!!), thought to myself since I landed up there must as well have the "famous nasi lemak" which turned out to be so-so and my stomach felt all queasy, teh tarik was disappointing also, not worth the $5.50 (excluding transport cost).

Bus arrival intervals at changi village are bad and there was no direct bus to downtown but only back to my neighborhood bus stop where i transferred onto another bus that goes Tampines mrt.

Yes, and now I am happily resting on a bench with legs folded, at a corner Tampines One basement, with a each-a-cup's green apple green tea by my side.

A group of 21 individuals came on board with different aspirations and purpose, but returned home with hearts opened,spirits uplifted and life changed. I am really proud of who we are and where we stand,and I believe we will truly be legendary in our own unique ways.

Regardless if we cross paths again, it was a liberal experience for me to be acquainted with people of different ambitions,interests, character, struggles and past failures, and learn so much from their stories, this trip will be one of the best of my SIM memories.

The people met on this trip have really made a usual overseas corporate learning trip extraordinary.

Back at ritz after a long 5 months, glad to see familar faces and to still know my way around and also where exactly the things are placed. Did mindless stuff like folding table clothes,covers and stock counting yesterday. Today's shift started at 7am, been pushing trolley of stuff up and down, guarding at the door,snoozing off in the back room, and totally running my phone battery flat. Perhaps its not that bad to be back here, i cant remember why i swore that i will never be back here. Slack work days like this should be remembered more.

Really a blessing to receive this offer to umpire this mini inter corporate street netball competition held by xxxxxxx xxxxxxxx (gym name) located at science hub. It was just 5 teams playing, rounds of 10 of 8mins each. Top 4 Teams proceed to play finals coming Friday. Took bus 14 from Dover Mrt to the venue, coming from school make the trip really really worthwhile,save time and save money~ its surprisingly less than 30mins from School, and at first i was worried i will get lost since i've never been to Science park drive area. Now, the this is the real deal, the pay is almost thrice the rate netball singapore pays per hour, THRICE, hohoho i was so elated last night that I was doing all sort of crazy swimming strokes on my bed before i fell asleep...

Its 1137pm, and i have not studied for the day.

After a good life sharing, i am back in my room bothering over this coordinator work i got myself into, the first bad choice you made this year, well done Grace.
Its so annoying that there is so little time to do the things your heart most wants to do , or to put it more accurately when times your heart is finally set on something, circumstances oppose it.

Actually apart from all these complains, there is more significant things to talk about. TODAY marks a BEGINNING of a LEGEND, a STORY, a BATTLE, that will capture many hearts. And let me digest all i've been through today, and leave saying it all in a better state for i'm hungry from skipping dinner and sleep deprived to have been awakened suddenly early morning to face interrogation from 2 investigators....

Half was school, the other half was everything else what school robbed you off from.

Its a short 16 days school break but i can't believe the amount things Ive done within a week already, its the best holiday ever!!!

2 discoveries this week...

1. A hidden ugly side of a friend whom I've know for more than 6 years..

2. Hive like rashes, it broke out after last night's run, the first one i ever had was last year july,also after a run, and i'm pretty sure this time the hive like rashes induced by exercise is triggered by a food allergy, and im somewhat sure what is it, its prawns!!!!!!!!

And I've bought a book to celebrate the near freedom, its a fiction book called The Lord of Finance, super dry factual and all but i'm sucked into it, i am that a boring person to find interest in such books related to my course of study.

It started off with a pleasant surprise and ended with a heartbreak.
Back home on the cab, i forced myself to cry to ease the tightness in my chest and my heart felt like it was bleeding, your favourite colour.

I once thought i am relatively mature in thinking, sensible and rational since i have been through much and have come to understand certain aspects of life and emerged stronger in my beliefs and values.

However, past months at work and school,certain issues have surfaced, and i found myself struggling to stay firm to my core values, its been a challenge to really not base whats right or wrong on the majority and the norm, and i've truly learnt that the majority is not always right, and its dangerous to just follow what everyone else does and "conform to the standards of this world".

I need to seek God for the right answers.
